The Metabolic Snapshot™ · Lincoln Park, Chicago
Before you try another thing, know where you stand.
Body composition, resting metabolic rate, strength and metabolic labs, interpreted by a board-certified internist, and a written Personal Metabolic Blueprint that tells you what matters most for your body right now.
Sound familiar?
You're eating and moving the way you always have. Your body didn't get the memo.
Your energy, strength, weight or recovery is telling a different story. Before you add another diet, supplement or program to the pile, it helps to know where you actually stand.
You know your weight. Do you know how much of it is muscle?
Weight loss can include both fat and lean tissue. The scale can't tell them apart.
You're following a calorie target. Has anyone measured your resting calorie burn?
Most targets come from formulas and apps. Your body doesn't necessarily follow an average.
Your labs say normal. You don't feel normal.
Normal results can be reassuring and still leave important questions unanswered.
What's included
We're not selling four tests.
You're paying for a physician's ability to connect your results to your history, your symptoms and your goals, and turn them into a plan you can act on.
The Snapshot is the pause. The Blueprint is how we design what comes next.

Personal Metabolic Blueprint
Your written plan, reviewed with me in a 60-minute Results Visit.
Muscle Scan = body composition analysis (InBody 580). Resting Calorie Burn Test = resting metabolic rate (RMR) by breath analysis (PNOĒ). Strength & Longevity Check = grip strength and 30-second chair stands. Metabolic Risk Profile = fasting metabolic blood panel.
Who it's for
One assessment. Two common starting points.
You're losing weight. What are you protecting?
You're on a GLP-1, considering one, or thinking about stopping. The number on the scale is moving. The Snapshot shows what's changing underneath it, so your next decisions about nutrition, movement and follow-up are informed by more than your weight.
Your body is changing. Your old playbook may not fit anymore.
This season of life can change sleep, energy, strength and body composition in ways routine visits don't fully explain. The Snapshot gives you a measured, physician-interpreted starting point instead of more trial and error.

A page from a sample Blueprint
Every Blueprint opens with your goals, explains your four measurements in plain language, and closes with your way forward. This is the part most people value most: three priorities, each with a reason and a way to measure progress.
Illustrative example only. Not a real patient and not medical advice.

Questions
Metabolic Snapshot questions
Will the Snapshot find the cause of how I feel?
You'll leave with an explanation of what your results show. Sometimes that names a likely cause, sometimes it rules one out, and sometimes it identifies questions that need further evaluation. The goal is to know what we know, what we don't, and what makes sense to do next.
Do I have to commit to a program afterward?
No. The Blueprint stands on its own. If structured care would help, I'll tell you, and the choice is yours.
Does this replace my doctor?
No. Many patients share their Blueprint with their own physician or prescriber. It's designed to make those conversations more informed.
I'm on a GLP-1. Will you change my medication?
The Snapshot is an assessment. It doesn't start, stop or change any medication. Your Blueprint gives you better information to bring to your prescriber.
What's the cancellation policy?
The Snapshot fee is non-refundable. Please give at least 24 hours' notice to change or cancel your appointment by calling (312) 730-7030 or emailing [email protected].
Can I use my HSA or FSA?
We can provide an itemized receipt on request. Check with your plan administrator about eligibility.
